Menatti Bacon
Bacon is obtained by processing the pork belly. It is trimmed so as to get a rectangular shape and shows fat stripes alternated with thin lean meat layers. The meat is salted, seasoned with spices, then processed in different typologies (natural, aged, smoked) and shapes, (flat, rolled) and aged.
Menatti's cured meats and Bresaola have always been made in Valtellina, in the Salumificio founded by Lorenzo Menatti after years of experience as an artisan producer.
In this unique climate, all stages of processing are carried out according to a method that remains traditional, from the beginning of the process until the products are displayed on store shelves.
